The Product:

Corgi Clay products are all hand-made, functional, ceramic ware made from durable stoneware clay. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. Though, I always recommend hand-washing for longevity of product. What you see in this store are all one-of-a-kind products, never reproduced. I welcome requests for custom orders but please don't ask me to reproduce another artist's work!

 

The Name:

The name Corgi Clay comes from the fact that I have been a lover of the Corgi dog-breeds for decades and have owned both Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgis. They are both fascinating, playful and super smart dog breeds that have brought my husband and I much joy over the years. Being a corgi-owner is being a lover of all things Corgi so, I decided to name my pottery brand after my favorite breed. Occasionally, I do also place corgi images on my pottery! The logo here on your left is a portrait of my Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Loki. This image is trademarked and will appear as my personal stamp on the bottom of all my Corgi Clay products so that you know you are getting a 100% original Corgi Clay functional pottery work.
